This work consists of a siege into three latinoamerican literature stories ­El sueño de los héroes by Bioy Casares, "El último rostro" by Alvaro Mutis and El general en su laberinto by Gabriel García Márquez­, where the hero's Myth is updated. We focus on percieving the process of heroic figure construction and how this figure is moving from places asigned by the epic to suggestive zones which critically (re)strengthen the hero's Myth
