Alstroemeria lutea M.Muñoz, Alstroemeria achirae M. Muñoz et Brinck and Alstroemeria werdermannii var. flavicans M.Muñoz are described as new species and variety for science. Description, geographic distribution and colour photographs for each species are presented. The descriptions of Alstroemeria modesta Phil. is complemented. Leontochir ovallei Phil. var. luteus, a yellow flower colour variety is described
