The presence of three specimens of Basilia silvae (Brèthes, 1913) found on Histiotus montanus (Philippi & Landbeck, 1861) collected Chillán, Chile is reported. This is the first record of Basilia silvae on this bat and in the Province of Ñuble, Chile
