This is the first notice on genus Huenia and the species H. pacifica Miers, 1879 in American waters. Three specimens were collected in subtidal waters around Salas y Gómez a chilean oceanic island (25º 27'Lat. S; 105º 21' Long.W) during the CIMARISLAS 5 cruise
