SUMMARY: We dissected 110 lateral cervical regions of white and non white adult subjets, consened in 10% formalin solution. We alway started dissections observing primaryly the superior thyroid artery origin followed by its branches. The artery in study had been present in 100% of observations. We could notice expressive variations of origin's as well its glandular and collateral branches.
