After briefly summarizing, in an introductory Chapter, the works and literary styles of the Chilean writer Poli Délano (1936), and thus defining the place of his literary work within the Chilean and Hispanic - American Narrative / Story writing, a formal and thematic establishment of his work is concluded to be akin to Black Latin American genre through the analysis of three of his stories and, above all, the short novel entitled ‘ Death of a Nymphomaniac’
