A chilean family traveled to Cuba and to a rainforest region in Panamá. At return to Chile they presented with painful erythematous swollen skin papules along their dorsum and thighs. The diagnosis of foruncular myiasis was made after identifying larvae of Dermatobia hominis by morphology. Three of the patients healed 2 days after surgical removal of the larvae and one of them healed after two weeks.
