A new species of Monogenea, Neobivagina chita, found in gills of the marine fish Anisotremus scapularis (Tschudi) «chita», from Peru, is described and compared to related species. Neobivagina chita n. sp. is caracterized by testes number (51-72), by having a seminal receptacle, and by the number and disposition of atrial spines. Rhinobatonchocotyle cyclovaginatus Doran, 1953 (Hexabothriidae) is a new record for Peru, with Rhinobatos planiceps Garman, «guitarfish» as a new host
