LARREA O, María Isabel. The historical mini short story. Estud. filol. [online]. 2006, n.41, pp. 115-129. ISSN 0071-1713. doi: 10.4067/S0071-17132006000100009.
The purpose of this paper is to go over the aspects that define the historical mini short story whose discourse characteristics facilitate a dialogue between recent and remote history of Latinamerica. An important corpus of these mini fiction stories shows the hybrid characteristics between literature and history, at the same time demonstrating the writers´ concern for comparing and contradicting cultural or socio-political events of Latinamerican reality at the edge of the canonical discourse of the study of history
