In November 2010, the 100th Plenary Assembly of the Bishops' Conference of Chile was held. On the occasion of this symbolic event, this paper presents the results of a study of the content of statements emanating from these episcopal assemblies. It first takes an overall historical look at the texts, sorted by decade, then moves on to highlight and briefly analyze their main theological points. Finally, to conclude, there is a reflection on some ecclesial perspectives coming from the lessons of history and the present challenges to the Church.
