But this aspect of his thought has not been interpreted in the general context of his theology. So, the author, divides his work in two aspects. First he describes, in seven steps, Irenaeus millenarist conception. He indicates the most remarkable texts of Ad. haer. V, 31-35. In these texts the Lyonese expresses his thought about the matter. Then he interpretes these datum from Irenaeus theology of the resurrection of the flesh. The authors fundamental reasoning is that Irenaeus supports on quiliast tradition learnt in his native country.
