Revista de la Facultad de Ingeniería - Universidad de Tarapacá is published periodically, is printed in three issues per volume annually, publishing original articles by professional and academic authors belonging to public or private organisations, from Chile and the rest of the world, with the purpose of disseminating their experiences in engineering science and technology in the areas of Electronics, Electricity, Computing and Information Sciences, Mechanical, Acoustic, Industrial and Engineering Teaching.

Its abbreviated title is Rev. Fac. Ing. - Univ. Tarapacá, and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.

MAGAZINE TITLE CHANGE

We communicate to you that, with the intention of having a title more adapted to the content of our magazine, we have decided to adopt, from the Vol. 14 Nº2 of 2006, the following denomination:

INGENIARE
Revista Chilena de Ingeniería

The word Ingeniare, it comes from the Latin and means to design or to create.
