REVISTA DE LA CIENCIA DEL SUELO Y NUTRICIÓN VEGETAL (Journal of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition) (ISSN 0717-635X) edits three issues per year on behalf the Chilean Society of Soil Science.

REVISTA DE LA CIENCIA DEL SUELO Y NUTRICIÓN VEGETAL (Journal of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition) is a peer reviewed journal that publishes original research findings in all areas related to soil science. For publication it accepts original research papers, technical notes, and reviews (both voluntary and by invitation) on all aspects indicated by the Journal’s title. Contributions to soil science cover physics, chemistry, biology, mineralogy, ecology, pedology, classification, amelioration. Contributions related to plant nutrition includes the mineral metabolism of plants, ecological aspects of plant nutrition, physiology of development and efficiency, organic and inorganic fertilization in relation to their impact on yields, quality of plants and ecological systems. Contributions related to soil science as quaternary geology, geomorphology, hydrology and nature conservation and environmental protection are also in the scope of the Journal.

Its abbreviated title is J. Soil Sc. Plant. Nutr., and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.
