PSYKHE is a publication of Escuela de Psicología, Facultad de Ciencias Sociales, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. It publishes original research work, preferentially empirical studies, carried out in different areas of scientific and professional psychology. PSYKHE publishes some special issues that cover different areas within psychology.

PSYKHE is a biannual publication (May and November) which includes papers in Spanish or English.

The contributions sent by authors are first evaluated by the Editorial Committee and then sent for revisions to external reviewers who are experts on the subject matter. During the evaluation process, the names of the authors and the reviewers are withheld. The Editorial Committee decides if the papers are accepted, revised or rejected, based on the reports sent by the external reviewers. The Editorial Committee also informs the authors of any decisions made.

PSYKHE was founded in 1992, with Jorge Gissi Bustos as its first editor.
