Basic information

Política Criminal is a non-profit electronic journal, edited by the Center for Studies in Penal Law of Universidad de Talca.

Política Criminal main objective is to publish research and relevant contributions to Penal Science, putting emphasis on public policy issues.

The journal’s first issue was published in 2006, and since them maintains a semestral publication schedule, two issues are published per year. The first issue is open for submissions from January 1st to June 30 of each year. The second issue is open for submissions between August 1 st and November 30 of each year.

Its abbreviated title is Polít. crim., and should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.

Authors keep their copyrights, but authorize publication of their articles in Política Criminal under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 2.0 License that will allow their reproduction, distribution and public display as long as the text’s author and the source are duly cited, exactly as appearing in the recommended citation for each article. Commercial use and derivative works of the published texts are expressly prohibited, unless previously authorized by the author in writing. Copying the Journal’s content is also prohibited, but linking to its URL is authorized, if the Director previously authorizes it.
