IDESIA is a scientific publication of the Universidad de Tarapacá, which publishes three numbers per year (every four months); the journal is also available in www.idesia.cl and www.scielo.cl.  It includes original, unpublished research by public or private entities, Chilean or foreign, in the areas of flora, fauna, technology, environment, economy and production in arid and semi-arid areas.

DESIA publishes articles preferably in English, but also accepts articles in spanish.
