The ANALES DEL INSTITUTO DE LA PATAGONIA has as its principle objective the publishing of original work, preferentially by researchers from the University of Magallanes, in the natural sciences from the area of Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica, adjacent islands and the southeast Pacific.

The articles published in The ANALES DEL INSTITUTO DE LA PATAGONIA are indexed or summarized by:

The articles and photographs in this journal which carry the symbol © (Copyright) cannot be reproduced.

All of the other texts and illustrations can be used only when the citation is mentioned: “From the Anales Instituto Patagonia” and the volume and year of the publication are included. Upon reproducing the articles and photos, the author’s name and affiliation should be confirmed. Regarding reproducible photographs, they will be facilitated by the Administration, when the editor of another publication solicits them in writing. Once these materials are utilized, three copies of the periodical or Journal in which they are used should be sent to the Administration.
